Hey, i was speaking to Zeref today, and we came up with something that we both think might be good for a suggestion to do with the PK rankings.

We we're thinking about suggesting that the PK rank positions from #1 to #10 get some kind of rewards, rather than just 5 poring coins for #1 Examples:
>Old Green boxes or something
>Aura's for top 5
>Special Donation Items or something for holding top spot for a month

And also Zeref came up with the idea, that there should be a Month PK rank, and top #1 on pk rank, should get recorded like So far as i know, top people have been:
>ToYPiTz
>Miracle
>Royal Defender

and they would be recorded for the 'Months' that they held #1 title. Like if all month they held top spot in Monthly PK rank, they'd be recorded, and records would be available on Homepage or something?

So it'd be like
>PK Rank
-All Time PK rank.
-Online Players PK rank.
-Monthly PK rank.

People who hold top spot for normal PK rank, would get rewards, people who hold top spot on Monthly PK Rank, would also get rewards. I think this would encourage people to engage more in PVP/WoE.

Also, if it's possible, make it so Kills from the same IP, don't count towards PK rank, so that people cannot duel client/boost.

I'd like to hear others opinions on this.

I like the aura idea for the top 5

Its like when they see someone with an aura on pvp, shit bout to go down.

Implement this so that I ever do play again I can take jamies spot mhm

The idea is good. But im pretty sure with this, a lot of people is going to boost kills with dual clienting.

+1 To this suggestion, but the system / mechanics of the whole idea won't sound as easy as per to implement.

Very true, and i understand this. It's just at the moment there is only a reward for position '#1' and it's only 5 poring coins.

I just feel a bit more effort should be put into the PK System that's all. :thumbup:

top pk aura was suggested by bangason b4 from the old forum, and the admin said that it is hard to do that,monthly pk rank was suggested by me before but the players give -1 to it because some players would take advantage of dual clienting, but if

then i guess it will not be a problem anymore, for the reward, increaseing it or changing to OGB or something else is good, but for donation, i dont think so, but it depends on what item it is, and i'd rather want to see the pk of the month, from who is the most active pk on that month

Yes, i agree with this as well Jinbei. and the aura, was suggested by me lol, i suggested it to Bangason and he suggested it on forums xD, anyway. if it's too hard to do i understand. It's just like i said erliar, "I just feel a bit more effort should be put into the PK System that's all." and as for rewards, that is entirely upto admin staff. I was only putting suggestions. Monthly PK should have a good reward. and #1 Pk rank shouldn't be as good as Monthly. Seeing as Monthly will be alot harded to get above everyone else.

We cant also block kills from the same IP as some of the people playing are from the same internet cafe.

The PK system does need a bit of attention to it but it could lead to an abuse of the system which would then complicate more problems that we already have. So as for the meantime, this can only be just an IDEA.

The top player of the mont will rewared at the moment, but i think it s only a little prices, because it was just a test run with this script.

I can increase it, Hmm the thingy with the aura... yes we can try it. But i can't promise that it works

Nice suggestions, i personally think that it would help make things a little more interesting on the server.
Yes, dual clienting may be disabled but i believe the majority of the community would not agree to that.

We are three people playing on the same IP so -1 on block kills on the same IP.

Please if you are going to disable the dual client read this thread first, we know that alot of people disagreed about this. It has some good benefits on the server.

@Solve,
that's the idea of the Monthly PK Rank, because every month, everyone's monthly stats goto 0/0 and then it's whomever is top at the end of the month. So this would give people good chance to get above other people on PK rank, and it will be nice to see who is top each month, the normal pk rank stays the same, but better rewards.

I don't see why people who are in top 10 should have their efforts reset because of rewards xD, they earned it just like everyone else :thumbup:

And it's supposed to be like:
>Normal All-time Pk rank
-Added Rewards for top 5
-Added Aura's for top 5(if bimbi can manage this)

>Monthly PK Rankings
-Added Rewards at the end of each month for people on top 5
-Reset Monthly

Monthly PK rankings then gives people idea's of who is 'on fire' that month.
